Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray once again stood firm and used her voice in the recently held second 'Trillion Peso March.'

Thousands of Filipinos gathered at the People Power Monument on EDSA to call for justice and accountability for public funds in the second 'Trillion Peso' protest on Sunday, November 30.

The event was the follow-up protest to the rally held on September 21. It was again conducted in opposition to the alleged widespread use of the nation's coffers for the personal interests of corrupt officials.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was one of the personalities who attended this second run of the protest.

In a video posted by GMA Integrated News, following the first protest, which she also attended, Catriona once again called for justice and accountability.

“Today we stand here as Filipinos who are tired. Tired of watching as corruption steals food from our tables, steals medicines from our hospitals, classrooms from our children, and safety from our communities. We have watched as families are flooded again and again with the public funds that are meant to protect them are pocketed,” said Catriona.

According to the beauty queen, many have already forgotten and seem to be setting aside this important issue because, until now, there has been no change and no one has been held accountable.

“And while our nation grows exhausted, our leaders remain silent. Sobrang tahimik! Nakakabingi! Bakit tayo pumapayag?” Catriona said.

She added, “When are we going to wake up? What more do we need? Ilang baha pa? Ilang scandal pa? Ilang nakaw na pondo pa before we finally say 'Tama na!'?"

Catriona also emphasized that eyes are currently only focused on corruption within the issue of flood control, but she questioned how much more corruption would be uncovered if other sectors of the country were also scrutinized.

She also called out the people in government to hold those involved in these acts of corruption accountable: “We demand action!”

“To the Ombudsman, file the cases now! To the senators, suspend the senators implicated! To the Congress, pass the 'Anti-Political Dynasty Bill'. Because power should not be inherited, it should be earned through the service of the people,” she added.

Catriona also offered a prayer during her speech.

“Panginoon, we lift up our beloved country of the Philippines to you. Reveal every hidden corruption. Ilabas ninyo ang katotohanang tinatago. Let the full weight of justice fall on those who betrayed this nation and stole from its people, not for revenge, but for righteousness. Raise up leaders, Lord, with integrity, courage, and conviction," Catriona said.

She continued, “Bigyan n'yo po kami ng mga pinunong may puso at tunay na malasakit. Strengthen every Filipino who longs for justice. Restore truth, accountability, and justice. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Meanwhile, on her Instagram post, Catriona showed a photo of a rainbow taken during the protest on EDSA.

"Kailan tayo muling magsisimulang umasa?

"Pilipinas… ang hirap mong mahalin, pero sa oras ng laban, hindi ka namin iiwan. 🇵🇭"
